Being a Birthday Girl,Ribbons Dyed the Color of Spring and the BEST cheesecake recipe!

It's March, Spring is almost here and I just had to dye some ribbon in bright, cheerful Spring colors!

Pink tulips, Daffy's and the warm soil between my fingers....that's what I'm dreaming of!

Today is also my birthday! I was fighting the blues a bit, not about being a year older, I get like this every year for some reason.

Then I looked at my phone this morning and all those beautiful facebook Happy Birthday's started rolling in ~ I tell you what....it just chased the blues away!

I used Rit dye and Hug Snug seam binding ( what else??) for these bright, spring colors.

I have four more Inspiration Boxes I'll be putting on etsy this week in green, pink and blue.

This one below in creme, taupe and leather is listed now.

I keep picturing the leather glove as one of those purses you see on pinterest.

You simply add a purse clasp to the top and maybe a vintage pin.

I almost wanted to keep it but it went perfect with this Inspiration Box.

 Pretty huh?

Speaking of pinterest ~ I use lots of recipes I've pinned but would you like to see the BEST cheesecake I have ever made!

Right here ~

Best Cheesecake EVER!

I made this for my daughter's birthday and can't find my own pic's that I took.

I followed the directions to the T (including letting everything sit overnight so that it was room temp.) except added a bit more lemon zest.

I didn't have a pan big enough to fit the spring form inside of so that it could bake in water so I used my giant wok pan and it worked great!

I have the sweetest story to share but will wait till next time~ I promised myself I wouldn't spend today on the computer!

I'm going to clean my house ~

Touch up my roots ~ trying not to carry the spring color theme to far!

or this would be me and Teddi riding in my convertible ~ LOL!

Thank you Mommie for giving me life ~

And to my Dear blogging friends ~ even if you are visiting for the first time.

I love, adore and feel very grateful for you all!

God Bless you and Keep You!

A few projects I worked on this year thanks to all of my blogging friends inspiration ~
